What is the name of today's game?
Harmony and prosperity are the aim
Let's examine it in a historical frame
Those who believed this, I proclaim,
stayed obedient until their last hour came,
stripped of everything they could rightfully claim
The people are different, the game is the same

Stay in line, feel shame
Doubt your memory, forget your name
Question nothing or lose your fame
Your words are twisted, to frame
There are many ways to make you tame
You are unbroken, you exclaim?
There's always the option to torture and maim
People are hurt, to great acclaim

We need the clarity to see what we became
Realize it is us who are to blame,
a lack of wisdom we never overcame
In everyone, kindle a bright flame,
giving strength and courage to reclaim
what has become justice only in name
